The centre is located half a mile to the east of the main A19 trunk road. Approaching from the North or South, take the Peterlee turn off onto the B1320 Burnhope Way which takes you
directly into the town centre, which Castle Dene Shopping Centre dominates.

There are also parking facilities at Surtees lower ground car park, Broad Close car park, Hailsham Place car park, The Bede Way car park and at the rear of the post office.
